About

Our Team

We believe our notes should never hold us hostage to any app or corporation. We envision a world where our valuable notes, that often hold our most precious thoughts and ideas, are treated as sacred, private and portable, and no one is locked into a single platform. We dream of open ecosystems where data flows without friction, securely, empowering people to choose the tools that truly serve them without losing years of careful effort.

Notes Convert exists to break down the walls between note-taking apps. Our mission is to give everyone the freedom to move their notes between any app and format, on any platform, without losing a single word, attachment, or formatting. We build bridges over the prison walls greedy corporations try to build around our notes.

Rooted in the values of freedom, openness, independence, and respect for user privacy, we believe technology should serve people — not the other way around. Every line of code we write is guided by the principle that your data belongs only to you, and, as such, you should be able to take it anywhere you want.

Notes Convert

Notes Convert is a cross-platform desktop and mobile application that converts notes between formats and apps. It aims to allow importing and exporting from any format to any format. Apple Notes, Google Keep, Evernote, Bear, Joplin, Notion, Obsidian, Markdown, Plain Text and more — you name it. All conversions happen locally on your device with zero data uploaded to any server.
